we've uh spent a lot of time the last couple days talking about the defense let's start with this

question fill in the blank notre dame's offense is blank through the first three games of the season.

I guess I'll have to go with exciting, man. I mean, Sean, you and I talked a lot before the season started,

and it was a lot of how to CJ Carr get adjusted, redshirt freshman quarterback, year two, Mike Denbrock.

But then the default was they got Jeremiah Love.

We know they're going to be able to run the football.

And the defense is going to be stout. And you kind of flip that on its head. And now we're talking, I mean, we're only three games into the season. I mean, it feels like they've played eight already with how stress we've all been. but now we're looking at this talking about how now we're looking at this

staring down the barrel of, you know, them having nine regular season games. I was like,

well, they're just going to have to outscore everybody. And hats off to C.J. Carr and the rest of

the offense and Mike Denbrock for putting us in a position to feel that way. So I mean, in short,

I would say the offense has been on fire, man.

Yeah, I would say steadily rising.

Like I think that there's that that's the thing is they're averaging almost

430 yards of total offense per game.

And I don't think we've seen the best from it yet.

Like we, we saw another, we've seen a different layer, a different level in each of these past couple of games.

And what we saw against Purdue the other day, starting off with a deep shot.

When's the last time we saw, you know, like, it's like, hey, you've got this back in the back field that defenses

might be focused on. Let's say a play action to him and just drop it over the top to Malachi

fields. And then that's, that's what it feels like this, this offense can go to is like we've,
