at 640. So we've got plenty of time to discuss and chew on some different topics here before we wrap things up.

One of the highlights of last Saturday's Jersey scrimmage over at Notre Dame was freshman wide receiver Devin Fitzgerald taking a short pass and racing for a 65

yard touchdown. The catch and run came against third teamers, some walk-ons on the field

as well. So afterwards, Marcus Freeman was asked if Devin Fitzgerald will have the chance to

climb the ladder a little bit on the depth chart,

face some other guys, you know, some of the second stringers, maybe the first stringers down the road.

Here's what Marcus Freeman said.

Like, here's the minds that our guys must have is that you you you got to master what

you get i don't care if it's against the threes the twos the ones when you master what you have

right in front of you right you'll get more and um you know i don't care if it was against a three

he made some big plays today um he'll continue to be put in elevated positions to continue to show what he can do against better competition.

He's had a good spring.

He's made big plays like that throughout the spring.

And today I wasn't surprised.

And he'll continue to get better.

And he's getting better.

But he's doing a really good job.
