We're going to talk about Marcus Freeman here in just a second, but I feel like since we're

living in radio world, we should probably redrop the big news of the day for anyone who

is just coming in and hasn't heard the news that Notre Dame and USC have gone splits.

It's Splitsville for the Irish and the Trojans.

They have ended their long-running historic rivalry.

USC wanted to move their game that has traditionally been, their home game that has traditionally

been Thanksgiving weekend up to the front of the schedule. And Notre Dame already has Wisconsin

in week one at Lambeau Field next year. And just, you know, just a lot of conflicts that the

two sides couldn't get past. They hope to resume in 2030.

like we've talked about this at different points throughout the season,

So what do you think about hearing this that it's that it's actually official now?

I think it's almost just kind of a relief because it's been hanging out there for so long.

If you look at their future schedules, the date was always TBD.

I think when they didn't announce anything, the weekend of the game this year,
