Our top five sophomore wide receivers right now on fantasy football today in five.

0:11.8

Adam Azer, Jamie Eisenberg here.

0:14.1

We go, oh, 54321 and 1, 2, 3, 4.5.

0:17.3

Up to you.

0:18.5

I would say 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 because I'm still thinking about the order in my head. Okay. Well, number one is easy. Number one is easy. Mr. Pooka Nakua, obviously coming off the dynamic, dominant rookie campaign that he had with the Rams. We talked about some of the potential concerns and pitfalls if Matthew Stafford gets hurt, if Cooper Cup is better. You know, was he a flash in the pan? But I think just everything that we saw and everything that you hope he can continue to be, if Stafford stays healthy, he's easy to draft as the first wide receiver from this class. And he should be a first round pick in the majority of leagues. All right. How about two? You ready for two?

0:55.8

So two is a tough one right now. I shouldn't say. Two is a tough one. Not right now. Right now for me, it's Rashi Rice. Now, we could see the chiefs add significantly to their receiving core. They've already moved on from Marcos Valdez scaling, which was somewhat expected. Will they move on from Cadarius, Tony? what will we get from, you know, the rest of the group, Sky Moore, Justin Watson, anybody who's still there? But obviously, I think we all expect them to add to this receiving court, whether it's veterans, rookies, both, you know, so Rice could be in trouble unless it's, of course, you know, some lesser name guys or lesser draft picks. But for right now, as we sit here prior to the start of free agency, Rashi Rice is the number two rookie sophomore receiver for me. And number three? Number three is Tank Dell coming off the season. You know, you'd love to see him hopefully. You would have loved to see him stay healthy and finish out the year the way that it was going for him because he was such a superstar. are. And I know we've had this question a lot, Nico Collins or Tank Dell, I think it's going to be, you know,

1:47.8

almost a superstar. And I know we've had this question a lot, Nico Collins or Tank Dell.

1:46.5

I think it's going to be, you know, almost a 50-50 split who you like better. For me, I'm leaning Nico Collins slightly. But love the setup for him. CJ Stroud, clearly one of the quarterbacks on the rise. He's a big part of that in terms of Dell. and you know, you just like to see him get better in his sophomore campaign, which I think he will.

2:01.9

Concern about the surgery on the leg? Not really. I think it happened early enough and you know, it's not like what we talked about with Tony Pollard at his position versus Dell at his position. As long as he doesn't lose any speed, which I don't think will be the case, enough time to get, you know, recovered. And, you know, the things that he should be able to accomplish and do, just don't ask him

2:20.1

to block in the end zone again. Yeah, it was much earlier than Pollard. Pollard heard his leg in the, uh, in the playoffs. Yep. It was week 13 for tanked out. All right. So one, two, three, who's number four? again for right now it's going to be zayflowers uh looking at what he what he did we talked about

2:37.1

you know some of the uh who's number four again for right now it's going to be zay flowers uh looking at what he what he did

2:36.4

we talked about you know some of the uh some of the setbacks potential for him with mark

2:41.0

andrews healthy versus injured and what flowers accomplished when there was no andrews on the

2:45.2

field but i just think he's got going to continue to get better i think this is the uh what

2:49.5

we expect to see from lamar jackson getting better in this offense and you know flowers are going to continue to get better. I think this is what we expect to see from Lamar Jackson getting better in this offense. And, you know, Flowers is going to be a big part of that. So while I love Mark Andrews and he should, you know, still be up there in terms of targets for the Ravens, he may not be the target leader for Baltimore if Flowers continues to, I'll use the joke again, Blossom. But I just love the setup for him in his sophomore campaign. So these are, what are we up to four? Four guys that as of right now will be in my top 24 with flowers just inside the top 24. All right. Puka, Rice, Tankdell, Zay Flowers, and number five will be? So I'm going to go JASN here. If title lock it stays, I'll probably have Jordan Addison fifth. But I think I'm, I'm expecting to see JSN get set free. And if that's the case, he may jump up to even as high as number two of this group. There's so much potential, so much upside. You know, so love the setup for him. If Lockett is gone, you know, we've talked about this quite a bit, that when he was playing on the outside, as opposed to playing predominating

3:44.1

a slot, those were his best fantasy games. That would be the case. I think if Lockett is gone, at least I hope so. I don't think they'd put Jake Bobo, you know, in that role over JSN. So a guy with just tremendous upside was a first round pick in the NFL draft.

3:56.5

He saw what he was able to accomplish at Ohio State,

3:58.2

and I think we'll see the best of JSN in his sophomore campaign. So a guy that I'll be targeting heavily, he will be the breakout, I think, of this group, you know, based on what he was accomplishing last year versus what I think will accomplish this year. But this is a tough spot because you have Jaden Reed, who's coming off a fantastic finish.

4:20.1

Again, Jordan Addison, probably missing somebody here, but it's just a lot of guys to like that are going to be in this range.

4:22.0

But for me, JSN will be in the top five.

4:25.9

I don't really think you're missing anyone there.

5:22.2

I don't even know who the next one off the board after that trio of JSN.S.N. Addison and Reed will be. Could be Quentin Johnston. Could be. He'll not be ahead of those guys. No, he won't be. I would say the next guy off the board. Yeah. So that would be eighth, I guess. Yeah. Dontavian Wicks. DeMario Douglas maybe. Yeah, tomorrow Douglas might be next. But, you know, that's the fun part of this. There's a lot of sleeper potential for this class. You know, DeMario Douglas, we talked about that on the show. Michael Wilson, Marvin Mims, A.T. Perry, T. Turner. You know, there's some guys here that can, I think, surprise a lot of fantasy managers. Dave mentioned Jalen Hyatt, Cedric Tillman. We didn't mention his name at all with the Browns. He gets a bigger role with Deshawn Watson. So this class is loaded. It's absolutely low. Josh Downs. I mean, there's just so much to love about what this group can continue to become. And even some of the guys that we didn't see show that potential last year can certainly show it in this coming campaign. That's it for Fantasy Football Today and Five.
