Lambert, the Cultural Anthropologist of the Athletic, who has his new style rankings

out this week. Wase was before we jump into the power

rankings and more importantly the power ranking comments what is the theme of the

style rankings this week who's the who's the one that's shining I I mean unfortunately it's Westbrook and James Harden in that

ridiculous GQ spread. Oh no. Oh no. We're like these dudes they really have no like sense of self-awareness, like at all.

Like, I think there was, there's a way to do that shoot where you're basically spoofing yourself and you're spoofing the idea of

MBA style and like alright we kind of take this a little bit too serious at times so

we're gonna get silly and have fun with the outfits but no like these dudes had a theme and they legitimately

thought they were killing it and it's patently ridiculous.

Was when does this work out for the basketball players that do this around this time?

Never. Never. Never. And I mentioned it in the piece I was like, you know this stuff is going to get

meme to death when they inevitably flame out in the second round of the Western

Conference playoffs and it's going to be fun.

It's going to be all over social.

And I think the coolest thing, Zach, how we know these guys are basically clueless about all of this did

GQ actually has an accompanying video where they you know they quiz Westbrook

and in a harden about different outfits that they worn and Westbrook about different things

that have gone viral in the past. And just, you can tell about just how these dudes talk

about this stuff, like they have no idea what they're doing.

They're in it.
