That the Harris County Sheriff's Department has a backlog of thousands and thousands of cases.

Here we go again.

And every one of those cases

is a real person, a real victim.

And then the friends and family of that victim.

And you carry victimhood for the rest of your life. Now, you can choose to go on and have a great life,

but you never forget what was done to you.

There was a fellow named Randy Burton, who I don't believe I know,

who's the board chairman of a group called Justice for Children,

who was saying, hey look, we got 1,300 child abuse cases here that are not being dealt with.

And we've tracked down Randy Burton.

Hey Michael.

Let me understand.

Yeah, actually I think that I think the dynamics are much worse than that.

Yeah, I'm a former prosecutor. I was the chief prosecutor of family

crimes back in the 80s and that's when I've started justice for children

when I left the DA's office. So I've been doing this for 37 justice for

children when I left the DA's office. So I've been doing this for 37 years. It's not how I make a living. I am
