We had a very interesting show today.

We were kind of all over the place in a fun way, lots of different topics.

So let's start off with our guest actually we talked to Texas state senator about a bill in Texas but this is also going to happen

federally as well through USDA and health and human services about food stamps

and should someone who's on welfare food stamps snap be allowed to buy junk food so we talked with

them and then I asked the question after that who's against this I want arguments

against it so we'll play the interview and then we'll play the following segment it was a

shorter segment as the end of the hour of some people calling in who are against the ban

that's pretty interesting.

So we do that, and then we'll take a break,

and then we'll come back, we'll play a segment we did

where we played a clip of Rampal talking about education,

and he outlined an education model that's a very technocrat vision

that I think is wrong.

I don't think it's accurate or good.

And I'll make that argument as well.

But first, let's start with food stamps for soda.

I'm going to... There is a conversation happening right now in D.C. about should we allow people on food stamps to buy soda soda and I wanted to spend the time on it

today but we did that education thing instead but on so there's some

controversy because like the beverage association apparently has been

buying or paying conservative influencers to be against it, to say,
