We praise Allah. Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. We thank him for everything he has bestowed upon us. We send blessings and

salutations upon Muhammad Salallahu alayhi wa sallam. His house hold all his companions. We ask

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to bless them all and to grant them all goodness and ease and us as

well. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala grant us every form of goodness and ease in this world as well

as the next. I mean my brothers and sisters yesterday we made mention of a very interesting narration

that I had said was a weak narration if you recall and I did say that the reason why I made mention of

it was because of the lesson that we wanted to derive from it. This narration regarding verse

number 75 of Surah Al-Tawba is narrated by al-Wahidi in his book As Babun Nuzul as well as Assoyuti

in a similar book, the Tabarani, al-Bayhati, al-Hakim, Hadith of Abu Umama, Radya Allah

has read it. However there is a very interesting explanation and that is something that each one of us

needs to take notice of. We all know that the battle of the battle took place. That was the most

decisive battle in the history of Islam. It was the battle whereby against all odds the

muslims won. They were only approximately 313 muslims and perhaps 1000 plus from amongst the

Kufal. The muslims were not even armed properly but Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala wanted something to

occur and that was the victory at that particular time with the small number and one of those who

took part in this particular battle was a man known as Tha-Ala-Bah, Ibn-Ukhaut-e-Balansari Radya Allah

and the man whom some of those have made mention of in the narration. Now we have one problem and the

problem is if you go back to the battle of Bada' and you take a look at it you will find that the

Prophet Salallahu alayhi salam later on made mention of the virtue of the people who participated in

the battle of Bada' and he said, wa ma yudriq la Allah al-Tala'a ala ahli bada'
