0:26.4	Powers here to welcome you into the month of March and to bring you an
0:31.5	interview in our voices series. So about once a month or so, Megan and I break
0:36.5	from our usual conversational format and share a conversation with somebody
0:40.9	who has a perspective that we're interested in exploring more and maybe that
0:44.8	we can't speak to personally. Today I am joined by Larissa Maloney who is
0:49.6	founder of a company called Active Kids 2.0. Larissa is a former pro volleyball
0:55.0	player turned personal trainer and coach and she's also a mom to three kids. We
1:00.0	are talking today about what it means to embrace an active lifestyle as a family
1:05.0	and not just like working out or having the kids enrolled in traditional like
1:10.1	team sports, but active at more of like a fundamental kind of like family
1:15.1	values based level. This is honestly a pretty challenging area of parenting for
1:20.0	me because my own tendencies, my natural leisure pursuits are not super physically
1:25.9	active. I have referred to myself as an indoor cat before I like to snuggle up
1:30.9	and read. I like to watch TV. I like to take naps and sleep and at the same time
1:38.4	of course I'm so on board with the physical and mental and all of the other
1:42.5	benefits of an active lifestyle. So this was a really great conversation for me
