Day one of the legal tampering period is officially in the books, and the silver and black were very, very busy.

news and notes into one. No way. If that was the case, I would be flying through it and it wouldn't

give it any kind of just due. So we'll go ahead and talk about all the different transactions,

the direction that the Raiders are going and our

overall thoughts on what we saw from day one of the NFL legal tampering period. So let's go ahead and

jump right into it. The big name that was out there for the Raiders was Tyler Lindembaum and it

wasn't even close. A lot of us had him at the top of the wish list, hoping that the Raiders with all

the different money that they had and all the extra money that they had once the Max Crosby trade was, you know, at least announced. Of course, nothing is official until Wednesday when the new league year opens up. That's at 1 p.m. Pacific time, 4 p.m. Eastern time. But we all knew that the Raiders had a ton of salary cap space after that deal and they were not hesitant to use it on on Monday at all. So it didn't take too long when the legal tampering period opened up. They had already agreed to a deal with Eric Stokes resigning their own guy. And of course, we'll talk about Eric Stokes coming up in a little bit. But the name that we all kept waiting for was Tyler Lindenbaum. Was there going to be an Adam Schaefter tweet? Was there going to be an Ian Rapaport tweet? Was there going to be an Ari Mayrov tweet? Who was going to announce where Tyler Lyndonbaum was going? It probably took about two hours almost into the legal tampering period around 11 a.m. Pacific time. All of a sudden, boom, the news came out from

Shepty that the Raiders and Tyler Lindenbaum agreed to a deal three years, $81 million, totally

resetting the center position. You know, Creed Humphrey of the Chiefs was at $19 million a year,

and Tyler Lindenbaum now is the number one guy at 27. So what a huge gap, right?

From 19 million a year to 27 million a deal, a year, I should say. And Dan Graziano from ESPN

really broke down the numbers behind Linderbom's deal. 20 million dollar signing bonus,

$10 million 2026 salary, 30 million 2027 salary, all fully guaranteed.

His 2028 salary at $21 million is injury guaranteed and converts to fully guaranteed the third day of the 2027 league year.

So $60 million fully guaranteed at signing that likely makes all $81 million unless they want to cut them after one year and $60 million,

which of course, they're not going to do. So pretty much he's going to get all of that $81 million. And again, good for him. I'm fine with that. They've got the brains of the operation as far as the offensive line goes. That was the big get that you were hoping that John Spitech was going to make happened and he in fact did.
