Segment number two, there was a big move that happened that was kind of expected, but it

became official on Tuesday in Indianapolis, and that's the fact that Daniel Jones will get

to start at the quarterback position where former first round pick, number four overall,

Anthony Richardson, will be the backup quarterback, and he's going into year three. So there's some speculation, there's some conversation, should the Raiders show interest in the QB? And how much does what Pete Carroll had to say about him after the 2023 draft, how much will that play a factor? We'll talk about that. Segment number two of today's Lockdown Raiders podcast.

Here is segment number one, news and notes of the day, and it really is built around what assistant GM Brian Stark had to say to us Tuesday at the Intermountain Health Performance Center. So let's go ahead and jump right into it. Off top, the Raiders will be back at practice today. It was an early, it's going to be an early practice today, 8.45 a.m.

to 10. where Tuesdays was 10 a.m. to about 12, 15-ish or so. But 8.45 a.m. 1045, it's going to be back outdoors. It's going to be hot outside. That's why they're going a little bit early. But that's cool, right? That's what they do. There's only a few more of these that we're going to be able to be in full attendance for once

you know the training camp session

Once the training camp session and period is over, then it's just be a very small window where the media is allowed to be there.

So really appreciate the time that we're able to be out at practice. We'll also get to talk to head coach Pete Carroll and a few players following practice.

And luckily, I've been able to get one-on-one conversations with a player or two following

practice each and every day.

So I definitely appreciate the Raiders for that.
