Segment number two, I don't know about you, but on New Year's Day, I sat on the couch and watched

nothing but college football. The playoffs were fantastic, multiple games and multiple quarterbacks that showed up

and showed out. Well, most of them showed up and showed out. So we'll talk about those college

football quarterbacks and what stood out to me about them in segment number two. Here in

segment number one, just news and notes of the day. And really just has to do with a few little

nuggets, a interesting nugget, but a few little interesting nuggets heading into this final

game of the season. We'll jump into that after I tell you about the title sponsor of the show,

nugget that has to do with not really necessarily this game, but has to do with the

silver and black that came down on Thursday was that Cam Miller signed to the Dolphins 53 man

roster. Yeah, that was weird. Tom Pelliserro of the NFL Network tweeted out former North Dakota State quarterback Cam Miller, the Raider's sixth round pick who has spent the season on the Las Vegas practice squad is signing to the Dolphins active roster per his agent. Again, that was Tom Pellisero of the NFL network. And I know a lot of people have talked about see Cam Miller, see Cam Miller, put Cam Miller in the game, see what he's got. And I've been very, as a matter of fact, that, yeah, he's not ready to play in the NFL yet, right? I mean, he's coming from North Dakota State. He's a sixth round pick. Didn't get very much practice time throughout the course of the regular season. The most time he actually got on the grass and actually was able to practice was really during training camp during regular season they just don't have time

to get everybody reps i mean you're worried about getting a backup quarterback some reps you're not worried

about getting a guy on the practice squad some reps i've never seen this before i mean honestly i haven't

i'm very surprised by this i don't know why they decided decided to make that move i know miami's got

a few tough decisions that they're going to

be making. They're looking for a GM. Matter of fact, their interim GM right now is Champ Kelly. So maybe that has something to do with that. I don't know. I'm not too sure exactly what Miami saw in Cam Miller that made them want to try to poach him off the Raiders practice squad and sign them. And remember, when you sign somebody off a practice squad, you have to put them on the 53-man roster.
