The Raiders make roster moves ahead of their week 15 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles

and head coach Pete Carroll's job status. The rumors and reports, they continue to swirl.

We'll continue the conversation that we had on Tuesday. Gino Smith, we know he's banged up. He left the game on Sunday with a right shoulder issue.

Pete Carroll was not ready on Sunday to say if he was going to move forward with Kenny Pickett, he was not ready on Monday to say what was going on with Gino Smith. He said he needed a couple more days to evaluate, and I say that in air quotes. Well, today's a couple more days later. So when we meet with him at the Intermountain Health Performance Center, we'll definitely ask him what the status

of Gino Smith is. And I'm not saying he's going to give us 100% answer. Yeah, he's in or he's out.

He'll probably say something to the effect what he's going to try to practice and see if he can go

or not. So this will probably linger on the rest of the week, but since it's been a couple days, we'll try to get our thoughts and mind wrapped around what the Raiders should do with their quarterback position the last four games of the season. So we'll do that in segment number two. Here is segment number one, news and notes of the day. And we'll start out with some roster moves that they made official on Tuesday after we tell you about the title sponsor of the show, which is Fandul. As of Tuesday, they signed cornerback Chigazay anusium from the Cardinals practice squad.

This is a guy that was an undrafted free agent out of Cal and Colorado State back in 2024. The commanders actually signed him. Then he ended up on their practice squad and the Cleveland Browns signed him to their active roster. He played one game there in Cleveland and they waived him in August of 2025. That's where the Cardinals picked him up, ended up on their practice squad, and that's where the Raiders found him and signed him off of as of Tuesday. And so when you sign a guy off another team's practice squad, you have to immediately put them onto your 53-man roster. So he's on the Raiders' active roster. He's played in one game in his career. He's 25 years old. So, of course, they had to make

room for Chigazay. And the way that they did that is by placing cornerback Cayub Blue Kelly on the reserve injure list. We remember on Sunday, he was carded off the field. He tore his Patel attendant, so he's out for the season. So you swap one out, you swap one in. I don't think Chigizay is going to be a guy that you're going to see out there

locking down one corner spot.

He's going to be a guy for depth.

You're going to see a lot of Darian Porter.

You might see some DeCamp Richardson, but expect to see a healthy dose of 26. Dary and Porter, the third round pick out of Iowa State. And like I said, Chigazia Anusium is there for depth purposes, signed off the Cardinals practice squad. I also wanted to let you hear from Jason Jones, from CBS Sports and,

and he had this report on Sunday following the Raiders loss to Denver Broncos,

and there's going to be a lot more of this coming up in the next four weeks

as he started getting closer to the end of the season,

and coaches start losing their jobs,

and there's certain coaches and coordinators that are on the come-up that might be hot commodities like Ben Johnson was last year. Obviously, the Bears landed him. You know, Mike Vrable was for the New England Patriots. They ended up in landing him. So there's going to be some coordinators that we'll be talking about sooner rather than later if, in fact, the Raiders do move on from head coach Pete Carroll.
