an opportunity that, well, they just haven't had in quite a while, and hopefully they can make the right decisions and get things turned around sooner rather than later, but I'll explain what I'm talking about and how they can go about making some of those right decisions, what I feel like that they need to do and how they need to go about doing it.

We'll talk about that. Segment number two, here is segment number one, news and notes of the day.

And possibly the most important news and note of the day is that the fact that the Raiders are going to be picking number one or number two in 2026's NFL draft.

We talked quite a bit about it on Monday show following the Ra' loss to the Giants on Sunday at Allegiance Stadium.

We knew that they had the inside track at the number one spot, but we didn't know how far they can drop if they end up beating the Chiefs coming up in week 18 also at Allegiance Stadium.

Didn't know if it was going to be drop as low as number three, if they could still be in the number one or number two spot, what the case was going to be you know drop as low as number three if they could still

be in the number one or number two spot what the case was going to be matter of fact my guy proto

he actually called in and said that it was number one or number two and well he's not wrong but he was

just a little bit ahead of the curve he was a little bit earlier he kind of jumped the gun a little bit

but he ends up being right so shout out to protooto Domas will call him for today's show. But based off what happened on Monday night football between the Falcons and the Rams, the Raiders are now locked in to either the number one or the number two spot in the upcoming draft. Not a bad place to be as far as I'm concerned. Field Yates from ESPN, he tweeted out

with the Falcons win tonight, the Jets no longer have a shot at the number one pick in the 2026

NFL draft. It'll belong to either the Raiders or the Giants with Las Vegas having a strong

inside track to pick number one. Bottom line, you will lose the game on Sunday to the Chiefs and you're going to get the number one overall pick. You'll be in total control of the upcoming NFL draft. If you happen to win, if you find a way to win Week 18 versus Kansas City, you still won't be any worse than number two. Now, you're going to have to hope that Dante Moore decides he's going to make a decision to come out, and there's multiple quarterbacks there, just so you have options. And we'll talk about some of those options, talk about all the different scenarios that could be in play. We'll do that segment number two. But the Raiders will either be number one or number two, and either way you look at it, either way they look at it, the hope is that Dante Moore decides to declare for the NFL draft. It'll just make it that much better of a position for the Raiders to be in. But following the Falcons, loss over the Rams, and I was kind of surprised that they beat the Rams. I don't know if LA just peaked a little bit early, but all of a sudden they lost the last two games, even though they've been dramatic games,

the loss against Seattle was really dramatic.

The game against the Falcons on Monday night, they spotted them 21 points in the first half and then made a heck of a comeback in the second half just to end up losing. But now the Raiders is there at the number one or number two spots. So you say thank you to the Atlanta Falcons. Well, again, we'll talk more about that coming up in segment number two.
