It's Wednesday, November 1st, and this is your morning wire afternoon update.

Hundreds of civilians gathered today on the Gaza side of the Rafa border to cross into

Egypt.

These are the first to make it out of Gaza since the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel on

October 7th.

This comes as Israeli ground troops have pushed deeper into the Gaza Strip over the past

few days.

A growing array of Israeli units have also joined the fight including naval and air forces.

The Israel Defense Force has two objectives as it enters the region.

Release all hostages and destroy Hamas.

A Cornell University student was arrested Tuesday after allegedly making extremely violent threats

against the school's Jewish community on an online forum.

Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce has more.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Northern District of New York, 21-year-old

Patrick Dye is now in custody and charged with posting threats to kill or injure another.

Dialegally made several posts that threaten extreme violence such as mass shootings and

rape toward Cornell's Jewish students.

The incident has shocked and rattled the campus's Jewish community.
