We're going to do a little nostalgia today.

Danny Klingskill will

join us a little bit. We'll talk some sports, a little basketball as the conference tournament.

Well, the regular season's ending and the conference tournaments are starting up. We'll talk

March Madness for KU and MU. You're probably not going to sneak any K-State in today,

but we got a lot to look forward to with the two teams in the tournament and what they may achieve and where they stack up

in their conference tournaments. We'll also talk a little spring training baseball as we're in

Arizona. Strange oddity on this Friday. It is raining in the desert. It is really raining. I mean, it's really

raining, like Kansas City rain. It's not windy, it's not thundering, it's not crazy, like we get

thunderstorms, but it's a real rain. It's not some drizzle. It's a real rain in the desert,

and they welcome this like 10 times a year. They love it. The locals absolutely

dance, sing, and praise when the rain comes down in the desert. So we've got that on this Friday.

We will also talk a little nostalgia when it comes to the business of radio and media. As we say goodbye to Johnny Dare,

who's one of the great legendary radio figures in Kansas City radio history. Odyssey, which is not

the company I work for now, I work for Cumulus. Odyssey is the second largest radio company in America.

I think they own six or seven stations in Kansas City.
