And what we're doing tonight is part two of an episode

in which we discuss a recent interview with Steve Harper, a member of the Church Historian's Office,

where he was interviewed for a broadcast that was published on the Church

website.

It's on Mormon channel.com, or is it dot org, I'm not sure,

but anyway it can be found on the LDS.org website.

This was released recently.

It's about a 25 minute interview and we thought

that it was so interesting. Both the things that Stephen Harper was saying as

well as the things he was not saying that Bill Reel and I decided we wanted to take a crack at this and talk about this interview.

So we already did part one.

And when we left at the end of part 1, the question had been asked to Stephen Harper,

where do you go and what resources do you go to when you have a question about church history and the thing we commented on and

that we actually played at the end of part one was the fact that Stephen Harper

studiously avoided answering that question.

Instead, he talked about himself as having difficulty with church history.

It involved one of the Hoffman letters back in 1985 when Stephen Harper was a teenager and then he went to John

Wisdow who was a scientist and an apostle of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

in the early 20th century and talked about
