That's right, yeah, I live right outside Boise. I'm doing great. How are you?

Super duper for this early morning in November. Today's date is November 27th,

2022. We wanted to get together and do a podcast on something that Colby came up with the idea for and that we've been talking about for quite some time doing because Colby and I share a couple of things in common.

The first thing is Mormonism.

I've been a member of the Mormon Church

for over 40 years now or more correctly

the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for over 40 years.

And Colby, you were a member of the church for how long?

I was a member for 33 years.

Yeah, sorry to turn the knife with that use of the word were. I understand that your departure from the church is recent.

I believe we received resignation confirmations in August, so about three months.

Yeah.

Okay, so are you over this thing?

Yeah, I am.

You know, our life has gotten a lot better since. It's interesting having done an interview with John on

Mormon stories. It's kind of like a time capsule of...
