One of my dear friends is a fellow who happens to be a professor of classics at Florida State University.

His name is Trevor Luke.

Professor Luke has a deep and abiding interest in the subject, not only of classics, but also

in the subject of Western esotericism, and specifically how Western esotericism and specifically how Western esotericism is reflected in and

to some degree responsible for and adopted by and incorporated in the early Mormonism, and even pre-Mormanism of Joseph Smith's early days.

Professor Luke is not the only individual with this interest in Western esotericism as it impacts and is reflected in Mormonism,

but there are other similarly situated scholars who have this interest they have

formed a group called the Mormonism and Western esotericism group.

Professor Luke asked me to give a presentation to this group.

I could think of nothing that might be a better interest

I personally think that by far the most interesting part of the discussion was after my

presentation was concluded and the scholars began asking questions and

seeing connections of their own. I had a wonderful time presenting to this group and
