Broadcasting behind enemy lines tonight's episode the Joseph Smith translation and the Adam Clark Bible commentary.

Difficult though it may be to believe the first posting regarding Joseph Smith's

borrowing from the Adam Clark Bible commentary in creating his Joseph Smith translation of the Bible

occurred approximately four years ago now on the BYU website of all places the synopsis was placed there by

the discoverer of this fascinating piece of Mormon history Haley Wilson

Lamon at the BYU website under the Orca Grant section.

Haley Wilson-Laman being an undergraduate student at the time and working in tandem

with Professor Thomas Weymant on this project.

That was four years ago, according to my understanding, about a year after it was posted

there in that small and humble corner of the internet it was discovered

and picked up by different persons and began to be made more public.

Bill Reel at Mormon Discussions was the first person to my knowledge to interview

Haley Wilson Lamon and that happened back in May of 2018 a year later.

This was the semester that she graduated from BYU and even though they recorded the interview

shortly before she actually got her diploma by agreement. Bill Reel did not put that podcast

up on his website at Mormon Mormon discussions until he had actually received

confirmation from Haley Wilson-Laman

that she had received her diploma.
