I am very pleased to have Professor Brian Hauglet

on my show today to talk about his life,

his experience, and especially his scholarship, and perhaps even changing view on the book of Abraham.

How are you doing, Professor Hogglet?

I am doing great, RF M. Thank you for asking. Well I'm just so happy that you joined me on the show today. I know my audience has been looking forward to this interview very, very much, as have I by the way is it still completely

appropriate to call you professor howlgled I guess professor emeritus but you

can shorten it to a professor if you want.

Okay, well I only say that because you are recently retired from Brigham Young University,

is that correct?

Yes, like July 1st.

Of 2020, by the way, for the record and for future generations.

Today's date is July 6, 2020, so it's just been what, a few days since you've officially retired. That's right. Which may or may not have

something to do with your willingness to come upon my show for an interview. Well, I would say that, you know, I don't plan on saying anything that would be embarrassing

to anybody in my department or anything, but I just thought it would be better to wait.

I understand completely.
