Or, what would Jesus Dodo? Tonight is August 1st 2017 and just a little

over 24 hours ago. The LDS Church-owned newspaper Deseret News issued a retraction by Elder Jeffrey Holland of the

Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of a story that he told a month ago to Mission Presidents at the MTC. It was published a month ago in the

Deseret News. And yesterday, just a little over a month later it was retracted. The story is an exciting

story. It's a very faith-promoting story. It's a miracle story involving

missionaries. Now you cannot find the original version of this story

anymore at the Deseret News because they have scrubbed the original story and replace the

original story with the retraction that ran yesterday.

However, some forward thinking people saved the original story so I can read it to you now.

This is as good a place as any to begin this podcast.

First off we have to note that Elder Holland's words are quoted in the story but the story

is written by a reporter for the Deseret News named Scott Lloyd.

So you'll find that there are some places where what he says is synopsized by the reporter.
