Broadcasting behind enemy lines tonight's episode the Restoration proclamation with tonight's episode, The Restoration Proclamation.

With tonight's episode we commence our analysis of the April General Conference of

2020.

This is the conference that we were told in advance by President Russell M. Nelson that we

needed to take our vitamins for, that we were primed to expect something wonderful, something

amazing, something maybe even prophetic.

But the general feeling among those who watched April 2020 General Conference was one of being let down,

that their expectations were not fulfilled.

And that really, April 2020 general conference seemed to be pretty much business as usual

Now obviously the setup for the conference in a much smaller conference room that was empty except for the three leaders at the front

sitting in their high-backed crushed velvet chairs and whoever it is who might have been speaking at the time.

The setup, the Mise--sen, was indeed different as a result of the

coronavirus of course, which everybody knows is going on and which is why they had this different

kind of setup. But other than that, it seemed to be very much business as usual. The

coronavirus itself was hardly even mentioned during the course of general

conference. It was almost as if general conference was once again hermetically sealed in some way from the outside world and had little to no interaction with what was actually going on just outside the doors.

And we found out by the end of general conference

that what it was that President Nelson was so excited

about six months ago and that he was telling us

that we needed to be excited about

ended up being a new church logo and a new proclamation, the Restoration Proclamation.
