broadcasting behind enemy lines tonight's episode that time I got molested as a kid.

At the end of yesterday's podcast,

I announced that today I would be talking publicly

about the time I was molested when I was 10 years old.

And let me tell you what's been going on behind the scenes since I made that announcement.

First off, that announcement came out of nowhere.

When I started yesterday's podcast, I had no intention of talking about this incident.

And yet, while I was talking about formative experiences

in my childhood, I felt I should tell you

about this incident.

And so I announced that I would and immediately after I announced that I would, I regretted it.

Now, as all of you know, I record my podcast and then I have to spend a lot of time afterward editing it.

And I thought about taking out that announcement so that you would not hear me announce that today

I would be talking about that incident when I was 10 years old.

And if I took out the announcement, then I wouldn't have to talk about it today and I could

go on and talk about something else.

And nobody would be any the wiser.

But I realized that I was second guessing myself and I decided to stick

with my first impression that this was something that I needed to tell. The ideas
