And now is the time that Radio Free Mormon is going to go over and analyze the talks from general conference.

Bill Reel from Mormon discussions and I have already put several hours together

going back and forth and talking about our views of many of the parts of general conference, but even after several

hours of discussion between the two of us, there were still a number of points which I did not get to.

So this podcast is my opportunity to get to those points.

Nevertheless, I think that there are a number of themes that came out of general conference.

And I wanted to talk about those themes.

When I say theme, I mean points that were raised in one way or another throughout a variety of different talks.

The first theme I want to cover is stories in general conference that talk about how the church

is more important than anything else including your families.

There were a number of talks under this heading in general conference.

The first of those talks was given by Elder M. Joseph Brow in the Saturday morning session.

Elder Brow told a story about how he had to give up his dog named Blue because his parents

got called on a mission when he was 14.

He says that he and his family lived on a beautiful ranch in Wyoming.

From his perspective, life was perfect.

I could come home from school, complete my chores, and be

off hunting, fishing, or exploring with my dog.
