One of my favorite places to visit now on any rural community cruise has to be Alaska.

Went there for the first time last year and ever since getting my first taste of the last frontier, I have been slightly obsessed

with trying to get back there.

And this week's episode, I didn't get back to Alaska.

But we are talking to somebody who did go to Alaska on their summer vacation.

And we're talking with our very good friend Cruzen, Susan, back on the podcast.

Susan, thank you for joining us here yet again. Oh, Matt, thank you for having me back.

Absolutely. Now, Susan went on a wonderful Alaska sailing on Radiance of the Seas, a southbound

itinerary. We'll talk about that in a little bit. But, Susan, my jealousy exists on many levels, starting at which, first of all, you spent a lot of time before the cruise in Alaska.

Tell us about that.

Well, we spent eight days starting in Fairbanks and working our way down to Seward.

We had done a lot of research before planning

this cruise. About two years ago, I had my husband listened to two of your podcast where you

had somebody on talking about Alaska. And that spurred us to start looking into Alaska. And we decided, first of all,

when we wanted to go. And we knew we wanted to do southbound. And the more we looked into things,
