Hi everyone. Welcome to another installment of rules for retrogrades. Today we're going to be discussing the war on Christmas. How's it going, Tim and Chris?

What's up?

So as the forces of secularization run rampant in Western society, they've brought with them a war on Christmas. Secularists hate Jesus and want to do away

with him. They want to purge him from the culture, purge him from mankind's collective memory.

At the same time, to get rid of Christmas would be too shocking a change for the average, even lukewarm

Westerner to tolerate. Even pagans like presents, family gatherings, merry times, and traditions.

So instead of campaigning directly and explicitly against Christmas, the godless have co-opted it.

They have transformed it from within. Just like how the church is traditionally, when evangelizing a new

culture, taken what's good from the culture, kept it, baptized it,

and incorporated it into our Lex Orandi. The neo-pagans of Western culture had done this,

but in reverse. They've taken Christmas, unbaptized it, debased it, vulgarized it, robbed it of its meaning,

and have incorporated it into their satanical counterculture.

The change has been subtle, and that's what we're going to be talking about today.
