Hey guys, Adam Ray here for the about last night podcast.

Reposting an episode today with Jack Knight, who died yesterday.

Man, I don't really know what to say. He was as kind as he was funny, man.

And I first met Jack in Seattle. He wasn't old enough to get into the comedy club.

I was performing it, and he wanted to come with his folks, so I got him in.

He was kind of hanging around the club, and I got him in, and I put him up.

He came to the show that night, and then I got him a guest spot the next night, and he brought

his family, and it was his first time performing in Seattle, and he was hilarious.

And he ended up going on to get a Netflix special and a comedy central special, I think, and

became a writer and voice on Big Mouth, Nick Krolls, animated show, and Netflix.

And just became a quick rising star. I remember being at the comedy store overnight,

singing Chappelle Pop in, and Jack got to go on stage and perform in front of him, and he just

was so funny, man. And he was so nice and so likable, and had this big beaming smile.

If you don't know, Jack, just look him up, and you'll see, man, he just lit up a room, and he

was super funny, and you know, that'll be what people say about him, because he's a comedian,

but that goes without saying. He was effortless, and he was poignant, and he was thoughtful.

He was 28, man. I've had maybe almost 12 friends die from cancer or

or another tragic way in the past three to five years. And I'm starting to get numb to it,

but there's no shortage of sadness. And I guess it's just at this point you want to remember

...
