thoughtful gift, despite the fact that OP spent a lot of time thinking about the gift

and has spent a lot of money on them.

This seemed like an appropriate place to post this.

Signed up for Reddit gifts again this year.

Spent weeks trying to find a gift for my giftee.

I wanted to get something that they listed in their interests and they had a lot of

interests.

Narrated down to over 100 different gifts, but I couldn't narrow it down anymore so I

opted to send them a gift card instead.

Their response was, wow, I was expecting a more expensive and thoughtful gift.
