What is going on everyone and welcome to our slash Entitled parents. In today's first story,

0:04.7

an entitled Karen refuses to watch over her four and seven year old girls as they go into their

0:10.7

neighbor's garden and try to ride their massive horses. Entitled mum won't watch her kids. They climb

0:17.7

into the pasture with my horses. So I've referenced this story a couple of times to people and decided that I tell the full tale. I live in a rural neighbourhood. Everyone's got three to eight acres, so we're all pretty spaced out. I live on five acres, and my nearest neighbours are a sweet elderly couple about one acre from me. They're perfect. The husband does yard work as a

0:39.4

hobby and his wife bakes. We have a nice agreement where if I need something big chainsawed,

0:44.6

he takes the wood down and uses it for the fireplace and in exchange I trade recipes and bake

0:49.9

with his wife. Honestly, they just like the company. I own my own home, have two horses, a cat,

0:56.2

and recently my mum has also moved in because she was in financial trouble. I'm happy to help,

1:01.4

as she's good company and I'd do anything for her. And then everything changed when COVID attacked.

So here is when things go south. My neighbour's son and his family, wife and two girls, four and seven

1:13.2

years old, live in the nearest city and didn't feel safe. I don't blame them. And because my neighbours

1:18.6

are saints, they opened their home and the brood moved right in. Up until this point, I was the

1:24.1

youngest person in the neighbourhood at 29, so having kids wander around is new for

1:28.5

everyone. At first, it was no big issue. They stayed inside, got settled, maybe they were good kids.

1:34.9

Total long shot, I know, but a girl can hope. So one morning, I'm letting my horses out into the front

1:40.4

pasture, a Clydesdale and a Welsh pony, and I heard the most high-pitched squealing

1:45.0

from next door. It was so shrill, my Clydesdale's second-guess going outside, but cautiously

1:50.9

proceeded, only to be met with more squeals. I pop my head out, and the two girls are literally

1:56.6

losing their minds, and I get it, little whiteony and the horse from Brave. But still, they're

2:02.6

large animals they don't know, so they should have the sense not to approach, right? Puffed. Not a

2:08.4

Snowball's chance in heck. These kids sprint to the fence shrieking. The pony runs around in panic,

2:14.7

and the Clydesdale stands there with the same what the
