Jenkins is a pro bowl selection.

He's one of the best safes in the NFL.

But in the last year, he's become more notable for being one of the top athlete activists

in sports.

Malcolm, thank you for joining us.

Yeah, so let's start from the top.

You basically spent the last few months getting way more involved in social issues and

kind of becoming the face of a growing group of NFL players who've decided to get involved

in things like the relationship between police departments and the African American community.

You recently visited with Congress.

You've toured prisons.

Why did you decide to do that?

First of all, well, you know, it all started last July after the shootings of the NFL.

The Alton Sterling and Philando Castell.

And it was just kind of that tipping point for me where it's like, all right, I have to do

something.

This is kind of getting out of control.

And I started trying to figure out a way to use my platform to better the relationship
