what do we got today?

We have, first up, a question from Joanne, who asks,

there are those that teach that Satan rebelled before Adam and Eve were created

and that he took a third of the angels with him.

Is there any proof of this?

In my research, I found many people claimed that Revelation 12 teaches this. Can you please help me understand this passage? You know, this is a question that we get often, because what we do know is from Scripture, we come to Genesis chapter 3 in the garden and God had just created the world.

He suited the world for Adam and Eve's habitation and all their descendants. And then of course

Genesis 3-1, the serpent is there. And so where in the world did this guy come from this creature

who is seeking to disrupt and contradict God. So when did he rebel?

And that's really, we don't really know specifically. Now, there's a lot of conjecture. I'm all for

conjecturing and having fun and thinking outside the box. But when we think about what verses do

we have, what we, again, what we know, Genesis 3, here's a guy that's already fallen.

We're this creature.

And we look at other passages of scripture, Ezeko 28, Isaiah 14, that tend to give some background,

not only to the human king, but the power behind that.

We won't get in all those details.

But the question that was asked is, what about the third of

the angels? And it's interesting that there is no clear verse, and I want to say clear verse, that
