So obviously quarterback is of discussion, but what other position groups are we watching?

Men's team will be a fifth seed in number five seed in Nashville, the SEC tournament.

All right, Caleb, if I were to tell you which, I think we can both agree, and what we'll hit on this, but quarterback, let's set it aside because clearly that's what everybody wants to talk about.

If I were to say, Caleb, you go to spring practice this time next week. We get that viewing period. Where are your eyes immediately going to outside a quarterback on the practice field? Yeah, I'm going to cheat a little bit and just say the entire defense with the new coaching staff replacements. I think you've got to

watch the defense, particularly some of those newcomers like Chas Coleman, what does that defensive

line look like? Obviously before Tennessee replaces defensive staff, that defensive line already was

going to have some new faces on it, that Ed Rushor group, that Leo group was going to have some new faces.

So I think that front unit as a whole you need to look at. And also, I just want to see how the defense runs and functions. Are they still doing the same drills that Tim Banks was doing? Or is it a completely new group with Jim Knowles? How are they installing the defense? How are players communicating to each other? Who's stepping up as leaders on that side of the football? So I know you wanted one position group, but I'm cheating a little bit and saying the entire defense, just because that's going to be the newest thing. And obviously, you know, we know that Josh Heifle doesn't show us anything during the spring practice viewing period on offense. So let's see what Jim Knowles has in store and see what that defense is working on. Because I'm curious to see how much they can install

how fast they go and what it looks like early on in spring practice because I know a big

storyline around Jim Knowles has been, you know, his defenses take a couple of years to click.

Well, he's brought in so many transfers and so many of his former assistants that I wonder

if that defense won't click this year because you're pairing so many transfers that are familiar with his unit to to returners for Tennessee that are really, you know, malleable and can play in that type of system. So I'm curious to see what the defense looks like and that's where I'll be on the first day of spring practice for sure. Yeah, I think that's fair. And only, you know, not only because when you walk into the
