And what happens if the answer is no?

He promised a decision once tonight's session is over and it just finished, so we wait.

Going to the evening, it looked like there were three Republican votes for witnesses,

in other words, enough for a 50-50's high on the question, which raises all kinds of

other questions of its own.

The biggest one being will the Chief Justice of the United States decide to break the

tie if there is one.
