unfiltered. I'm a 23-year-old man and I, within the last year, just come out of a couple

experiences in which I thought I perceived something that was like a sign

or an indication of potential relationship.

But my experience is really marked by the fact that once I saw a hint of a sign, I became obsessed with this fact and just really let that

consume my thoughts and really warped my perception of like the reality of the potential of

these relationships.

I think exactly what you described is something that so many of us have experienced and have felt

in different situations where, you know, part of it is that we want something to work so badly

that we convince ourselves like, oh, it's there. It has to work. And another part of it is that,

you know, we, like you said, like you kind of start to obsess over it. And it's like, it's the only

thing you can see and your brain just starts like look for these signs.
