0:56.6	I am very excited about your book and talking to people to my listeners about your book and also about this topic. Yeah. You know, I want to start with
1:02.2	my story real quick. You know, many, many years ago, when I first began reading Terrell,
1:09.3	I, you know, of course, had been working with the Riderway Smith
1:12.3	deck and approaching things from my own perspective, which is my perspective as a white,
1:18.6	cisgender, you know, heteronormative woman. And I had a gentleman sit down for a reading.
1:25.7	And when I laid out the cards, I remember seeing the Queen of
1:28.2	Pentacles reverse. And I said to him, well, I see this really high maintenance, you know,
1:34.2	bitchy woman in your life. And he stopped me. He says, no, no, no, no. He said, I'm gay. But that
1:40.5	totally describes my partner.
2:00.7	And, you know, he was really humorous about it, but it was such a massive wake-up call for me because, you know, for tarot, back, I like to say back on the day, you know, the tarot decks, the main tarot decks were all centered around white, cisgender, heteronormative perspective.
