podcast I chatted with Sally about the birth of her first son Bodie Sally and her husband Ash

are a queer couple that conceived at home with donor sperm actually from a good friend of theirs

it's very interesting to hear about that experience once pregnant though Sally discuss

navigating hyperemesis gravity arm which if you don't know what that is it's basically hell

she talked about switching care providers later in her pregnancy and a pretty scary event that

causes to Bodie's interests into this world I am not going to spoil too much of this episode for you

so without further ado let's hear from Sally are you ready to create your birth plan as a labor

nurse I've seen a lot of different birth plans I've seen the positive experience they can provide

but also the way they can set some women up for disappointment one thing that certain though I do

recommend creating a birth plan before giving birth overall I see birth plans as an empowering tool

that gets mama's researching and thinking more about birth before it happens just like good child

birth education the process of creating a birth plan helps eliminate some of the fear and anxiety
