remember the mini series on Mary the first that I hosted. She was the topic of my thesis and has a

very special place in my heart. But this time, we are introducing you to even

more queens and to queens, as I say, from around the world. Today we are joined by, I'm going to call

them two greats of the field, by Dr. Ellie Whitaker and Amy Saunders. They're going to introduce us to Queenship more generally and to how

queenship is reflected in historical narratives. Ellie is a reader in Renaissance history at the

University of Winchester and is the founder of the Royal Studies Network as well as the Kings

and Queens Conference series.
