It's corporate earnings season and there's positive news from some of the first notable reports.

The Delta Airlines reported strong sales during the first three months of the year and a small profit of

37 million dollars. Delta said it's already seeing healthy demand for summer travel.

Constellation Brands, owner of Corona and Modello, among others, experienced strong demand for beer.

Quarterly profits were nearly $400 million, beating Wall Street expectations.

But Carmax struggled amid high vehicle prices and higher interest rates.

Quarterly profits were down 28%. Several big banks report earnings tomorrow.

Initial jobless claims fell again last week down to 211,000, continuing claims rose

slightly but are still around 1.8 million.

European Central Bank policymakers today announced that they're keeping its benchmark interest rate at a

record high of 4%.

Inflation in the Eurozone has been falling and the Central Bank signaled rate cuts are

coming.
