Hi, everybody. Welcome to the Mormon newscast. It is Monday. It is June 30th. It's the very last day of June. We're heading into the 4th of July weekend. I'm Rebecca Bibliateka. I'm here with Radio Free Mormon Bill Reel. We have so much breaking news tonight that we are going to jump right in with RFM. You guys knew he'd be the one to talk about this and what's going on at

1:18.5

The article goes on.

1:19.5

On May 21, 2025, a woman referred to as Jane Doe, A.G., which I believe would be her first and last initials,

1:26.8

A.G, filed the civil lawsuit against Retzlaf,

1:31.6

had accused him of raping, strangling, and biting her in his Provo home the night of November 22,

1:38.5

2002, 2003. The lawsuit sought more than $300,000 in damages for each of three causes of action to be proven at trial.

1:49.9

2:03.1

Brett Slough's attorneys called the accusations ridiculous and bizarre and that the quarterback

2:08.0

and the woman had consensual sex that night. So now it is definitely official, as you had

2:13.6

been talking about in previous episodes, Rebecca, that he is definitely admitting to sexual intercourse.
