Hey guys, this is Bill.

Before you get to the episode, wanted to update you on the Kvon Pope situation.

We recorded this podcast on Sunday morning before Ohio State had announced that senior linebacker Kavon Pope had been dismissed from the program for what happened during Saturday night's game against Akron.

I'm sure you're aware of that.

We detail it later in this episode.

But he's been dismissed.

He'll remain on scholarship for the rest of the semester.

I suspect we'll see his name in the transfer portal here sometime shortly.

Kvon posted an apology on his Twitter account also around the same time that the dismissal was announced. He said last night, I let my emotions get the best of me. For that I want to apologize to my teammates, coaches and Buckeye Nation. I made a mistake and know that I need to be better and do better. I'm going to take this time to reflect and work on my mental well-being. So that case is, uh, shut, for Ohio State, but we do talk about what happened and maybe what it means for the program later on in this episode, but wanted to just update you that Kavon has been dismissed from the program.
