So two days ago, there was a fatal shooting that left a 27-year-old young man dead.

However, interestingly, the primary suspect was unarmed.

All right, guys, so you might know what we're talking about.

Based on the title and thumbnail, you might have figured out that riddle.

But I'd have to say, this story has been dominating my social media for the last 36 hours. And I kept wavering. Like, I was sending the clips and information to my producer. I was talking about it with Alex. And I was wavering because I did want to talk about it. I found it really interesting. But I obviously wanted to be respectful. Like, a young man died. This is a shooting. It is a murder case. But also the thing that everybody is talking about online is how insanely absurd the entire case is.

And like, that is what I was drawn to. That's what everybody was drawn to. And so I basically spent the entirety of today trying to figure out what I wanted to talk about, but I just kept coming back to this. And then it finally hit me that I needed to reframe the way that I thought about things. I needed to take a new motto to heart. And that new motto is, what would Tim Dylan do? What would Tim Dylan do? And Tim Dillon in this situation, I think, well, he would tell the story. Even though this is something that we absolutely should not laugh at, he would tell the story. And then once we get through that absurdity and we talk about the internet's reaction, then we can get down to brass tacks and see the root of the story, which is completely and utterly heartbreaking. So without further ado, here's what happened. And I'm going to try to say this with a straight face. This is going to be a true test for me and Max, my editor, to see if we can actually tow the line here, Max. I believe in you, I believe

in myself. Guys, this is what happened. A quadruple amputee, US cornhole champion is being

accused of pulling out a gun and shooting his friend in the head twice while driving a car.

I mean, guys, when I first came across this headline, I thought it was The Onion, Babylon B, I genuinely thought that I was hallucinating. I was like, no, this obviously is not real. This isn't even possible. And so I scrolled on. But oh my God, no, it is in fact possible. And this right here is the man. It's gonna set up a field going for him. He's got a lot of room to work with.

Just work right down the middle of those backs.

Perfect. The middle. Cornhole champion. The first ever quadruple amputee on the U.S. cornhole team, for that matter. for that matter. Now, for years, this young man, and we will get to what is happening now,

but for years ever since this man was a little boy, he has been covered by the media.
