Today we are continuing our discussion of the Q2 earnings report.

Tesla stock on the day today was down 0.34% to $2.28.4 cents,

as compared to the NasdDAQ up 1.11%.

Unfortunately, this week also did end the positive streak that Tesla was on,

finishing seven or eight weeks in a row in the green.

Hopefully we can start fresh on a new streak next week. Quick note on yesterday's

episode, thank you to those of you that have shared that episode out. A lot of retweets on

Twitter, which I appreciate. Just think it's important to broaden the understanding of these concepts as much as we can, and hopefully sharing

out the podcast in general, but especially episodes like that helps accomplish that goal.

One other quick note before we get back to earnings, J.B. Strabel actually did a phone interview with Bloomberg and

discuss some of his reasons for stepping down as CTO. Quote, it's been an amazing time and I really

really love the mission and this personal connection and ownership with the whole company.

Tesla has evolved. What we need now is a focus on sales, delivery, and manufacturing.

I have been helping with that in recent years, but it's not what I am best at.

There are people in the world who are better at this stuff

and enjoy it more."
