My name is Rob Maower.

Today we are talking about the Q2 Earnings Report and Investor Call.

0:17.8

Tesla stock on the day prior to earnings was up 1.81% to $264.88 cents, that compared to the Nasdac up 0.8.81% to $264.88. That compared to the NASDAQ up 0.85%. But after the earnings report and shareholder call right now after hours, Tesla sits down 11% from the close to 23570.

0:34.8

While that is a significant drop,

1:14.6

JB. Just to really quickly put some analysis on this. Definitely a positive that JB is staying on

1:19.7

as an advisor. Drew Boglino will be taking over most of his responsibilities.

1:23.5

Obviously they have a close relationship. I think that continuity is unlike I often say for the

1:28.1

other automakers a good thing in Tesla's case and having J. B. there as an advisor

1:32.4

should give Drew a very solid footing.

1:35.0

Thankfully, I don't think this is terribly surprising for the market.

1:38.0

Many people already read into Drew's appearance at the shareholder meeting as a sort of introduction into a transition plan.

1:45.2

I wasn't quite as convinced on that angle, but that does appear now in hindsight to be the case.
