Hey, this is Trey. We are closing out the month of August. And by the time you hear this, I will be in New York City on a book tour for the color of death. So the good news is I'll be with my colleagues that I don't get to see on a regular basis in New York, all of whom I love.

The bad news is I'll be away from my wife and my dog justice.

And I should say my wife, my kids, and my dog justice, I should not put justice ahead of my kids.

But my kids don't live with us, and justice does,

so they'll understand. And we'll be two days away from the real start of college football,

and three days away from my beloved South Carolina Gamecocks taking the field against Virginia Tech on a Sunday afternoon.

I don't know why Shane thought it would be a good idea to play a game on Sunday when I have a show on Sunday.

I mean, what's he going to do?

Leave the game to go watch my show.

I don't know what he's going to do.

So I guess we'll figure it out. Yeah, I think he said that he was going to do. So I guess we'll figure it out.

Yeah, I think he said that he was going to try to figure it out so he could watch the show.

I know he was making a joke of that on your show recently, but you're right.

You know what?

I love Shane Beamer and I love college football and I'm happy for him to tape it

because if he needs to review tape or do some recruiting or game plan

or celebrate with his team on Sunday night after a big victory on Saturday,

I'm going to give him a pass as long as he tapes it and watches it with his sweet, beautiful wife, Emily, after

Sunday night.

I'll give him a pass on that.

But only during football season.

I don't know about football.
