0:50.3	going to try and answer them, not talk about them, well, both actually, for the month of
0:54.8	October. And I'm going to kick off with a question, do I need to plant my bulbs as soon as they
1:00.8	arrive? If not, where should I keep them? It's a really, really good question, actually. So I'm going to
1:06.9	start with hyacinths, which I know aren't very in fashion at the moment, but we love
1:12.4	them for their fragrance and we love them for forcing a bit early, so we have things to look at
1:17.5	and smell and enjoy in January and February. And I love them in the garden, particularly
1:22.7	Anastasia and Woodstock, which are blue looks like a bluebell and woodstock is the color of beetroot
1:29.1	juice. So those are real favourites of mine. Now those, you want to plant straight away. So if they're
1:34.6	forced, you want to get them into the cool and the dark. But if they're garden varieties, which are
1:41.0	the slightly cheaper ones, you want to get them in. Because we find that they go soft, because they're so big, they go soft quicker than others.
1:49.0	So you really, really want to plant them as soon as they arrive.
1:53.7	I would also, to be honest, plant alliums for pretty much the same reason.
