There would be no gentleness of heart if there were no wrath.

No taking sin with utmost moral seriousness.

I mean, if Jesus were a big softie with no wrath, no judgment towards hardness of heart, towards impenitent sin.

Actually, I believe then his gentle and lowly heart dissolves too.

It's both or neither.

Because otherwise, if he's not a wrathful judging Christ, then he's not really gentle and lowly in heart.

He's just smilier than us.

He's just nicer.

It's froth.
