So recently I just saw the new movie Inside Out 2 and besides the whole idea

of sense of self being ridiculously incorrect, which was that your emotions then actually

choose kind of your sense of self, and this is all kind of internally construed.

So besides that premise being totally wrong, it was an enjoyable movie.

And what was interesting about it was in these teenage emotions that come up and inside out too.

What really takes a stage is anxiety. And there's the scene in the movie where

anxiety is kind of running the show in this girl's brain and there's like this whirling dervish of activity as well as she's

totally paralyzed and still anxiety is and I think that's such a pretty perfect image of what it feels like to experience anxiety individually,

but I think it's also a pretty perfect image to think about anxiety in a system, right?
