The White House says Russian President Vladimir Putin has promised to hold talks with

Ukrainian President Volodymy Zelensky in the coming weeks.

However, press secretary Caroline Levitt declined to answer questions about specific locations.

Levitt said plans for a possible trilateral

meeting with Trump shifted to a bilateral meeting with just Zelensky and Putin, as quote,

an idea that evolved over the course of the president's conversations with both President Putin,

President Zelensky, and European leaders, who she said, quote, all agree that this is a great first step.

Leavitt also said Trump, quote, has definitively ruled out sending troops to Ukraine as part of any security guarantees to bring about a peace deal with Russia.

But she didn't rule out other military options, including the skies.

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform says it intends to make public

some files its subpoenaed related to the Jeffrey Epstein case.

The committee will first redact them to shield victims' IDs and other sensitive matters
