on the ground in Kiev. I started off by asking Frances for the latest updates from the

last 24 hours. Thanks Claire, I'm filling in for Dom today on the military front on what

has been a significant 24 hours for obvious regions. Russia has launched fresh missile

strikes overnight in Zappareja targeting schools, medical facilities and homes as Vladimir

Putin continues his campaign of so-called retaliation for the Crimea bridge attack over

the weekend. At least 15 explosions have rocked the city according to Ukrainian officials.

The morning air raid sirens are sounding again in Kiev and the emergency services have

put the country on alert for more strikes, something that I know Sergio will cover in more

detail in due course. The emergency services have said that 19 people have been killed and 105

wounded so far after Russia fired 84 missiles across the country. We're also hearing the

smoring that fresh strikes are targeting energy sites which is leaving live without power

and water. Witnesses there are reporting explosions across the city around noon their

time, which is about 2 pm, which is coming the day after residents suffered blackouts and
